629. A Gift Sour: As a child I loved sour food. I would eat lemons and dill pickles and often drank the dill pickle juice! I don’t eat lemons anymore but I do use them in my tea and I NEVER drink dill pickle juice but do still enjoy a good dill pickle.
630. A Gift Sweet: Last evening we had guests from church. We went out to eat then came back here for dessert and visiting. I made Banana Split Cake. - which was good, very sweet, but the company was even better!
631. Just right: I love the sour but it often comes with too much salt. I love the sweet but it comes with too much sugar – Just right is what God provides in His infinite wisdom.
I love how you are recording your #1000gifts through your blog. You are so creative.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cynthia. I read Ann Voskamp's book "1000 Gifts" and took her challenge. If you list 3 things you are thankful for each day, by the end of the year you will have just over 1000. I started a year ago and am still working on it! But I can tell you it sure makes a difference in my attitude. It has been a true blessing. I use the prompts that Ann Voskamp has provided - most of the time. Sometimes I go off on my own ideas.
